TaxFacts is a personal finance utility that helps you estimate your federal and state income taxes. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Do Not Collect

TaxFacts does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Your income or financial information
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your location or device information
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Cookies or tracking identifiers

All calculations are performed entirely on your device. No data ever leaves your phone.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The app saves the following preferences and data locally on your device using Apple's secure on-device storage:

• User preferences — selected state, tax year, and filing status, so the app remembers your settings between sessions
• Saved tax scenarios — any scenarios you save in the Compare feature are stored locally on your device only

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Third-Party Services

TaxFacts does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

In-App Purchases

This app offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade processed through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to verify and restore your purchase. RevenueCat receives purchase receipt data from Apple solely to confirm your Pro entitlement — no financial information is collected by the developer.

PDF Share Feature

When you use the Share button, the app generates a PDF summary of your tax calculation on your device. This PDF is only shared if you choose to send it - via AirDrop, Messages, Email, or another app you select. We do not receive or store any shared content.

Children's Privacy

This app does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. The app contains no user accounts, social features, or data collection of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
