Short version: the app collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Nothing. FIRE: Retirement Calculator has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
The figures you enter — such as your date of birth, current investments, contributions, expenses, and assumptions — are stored only on your device (including the private storage the app shares with its Home Screen widget). This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the transaction; we never see your payment details. Your purchase is validated on-device via Apple's StoreKit. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you turn on milestone reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification server or push token is used, and reminder text never leaves your phone.
Because we collect no data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose to third parties.
The app is not directed to children, and it collects no personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
